ESPA2 membranes provide optimal salt rejection and permeate flux. They are selected when lower penetration TDS and lower supply pressures are required. ESPA2 membranes offer the highest energy efficiency at the lowest costs and are used in large urban wastewater treatment plants.
ESPAB are high-rejection low-pressure brine membranes for boron.
The ESPA2-LD membrane is available in 4.0 and 8.0 inch diameters.
ESPA2 membranes are available in LD variant. Low differential LD™ Technology models are offered to minimize colloid contamination when used with conventional pretreatment equipment. These membranes offer consistently lower feed pressures and longer intervals between cleanings.
ESPA2 and ESPAB membranes are available in a MAX variant with 440 ft 2 (40.9 m 2 ) of active membrane surface. The increased membrane area requires smaller pressure vessels and less space, reducing capital costs.
The innovations have allowed us to offer ESPA2-LD MAX membranes with 440 ft 2 (40.9 m 2 ) of membrane area and using a 34 mil feed separator.
