LG Sonic - A unique anti-algae solution

Control and monitor algae with LG Sonic

This equipment combines online water quality monitoring and ultrasound technology to provide a cost-effective and complete solution for algae control in lakes and reservoirs.

Algae control using solar and ultrasonic waves

Depending on the type of algae, you need one or more LG Sonic installations that transmit certain ultrasonic parameters. Each unit can control algae in areas up to 500 m / 1600 ft in diameter.

Effective management of algae in water bodies

Kills up to 90% of existing algae and prevents new algae growth. In addition, LG Sonic TSS allows you to lower the BOD level and reduce the use of chemicals.

It is harmless to the environment

LG Sonic's ultrasonic waves are completely harmless to fish, plants, zooplankton and insects. Since the equipment works at low voltage (5-20 W), high voltage is not transmitted to the water.

 No toxic waste

The cell wall of the algae remains intact, preventing the release of toxic substances from the algae into the water.

 Effective in large water bodies

Each LG Sonic unit can control algae in areas up to 500 m / 1600 ft in diameter. For large water bodies, it is possible to install several devices.

 Minimal operating costs

The system works autonomously with solar energy and is equipped with the Aquawiper system in order to reduce regular control procedures.

 Easy installation and operation

It can be installed quickly and easily without the need for a faucet. After installation, it can be operated very easily.

Procedure

1. Water quality control

LG Sonic provides a complete overview of water quality by collecting the following parameters every 10 minutes: chlorophyll α (green algae), phycocyanin (blue-green algae), pH, turbidity, dissolved oxygen and temperature.

2. Prognosis of algal blooms

Collected data is transmitted in real time to network software via radio, GPRS or 3G. Based on the algorithm developed by us, we can modify the ultrasound program according to the specific water conditions and predict the algae bloom several days in advance.

3. Algae control

Based on the information received, the ultrasound program can be activated according to the water conditions and the type of algae present. Thus, existing algae are eliminated and new algae growth is prevented.

Algae distribution map is prepared by satellite management system

Through sounding, satellite technology allows accurate mapping of the distribution of algae in large water bodies.

With the help of LG Sonic, it is now possible to accurately detect algae species belonging to a certain area. Thanks to the integration of remote sensing satellite technology, it is possible to obtain a complete overview of distribution in large water bodies.

 Advanced water quality software

Based on real-time water quality data, LG Sonic can modify the ultrasound program according to specific conditions.
MPC-View software allows users to visually monitor the water quality and progress of the ultrasonic treatment. Our staff receives the same real-time water quality data to check the current state of the lake, change the ultrasound program, and prevent algae blooms.

Easy installation and operation

The LG Sonic unit can be installed quickly and easily without the use of a faucet. The system is very convenient to service after installation.

LG Sonic Monitoring is a modular device that is easy to assemble and install. Because of its lightweight construction, you only need a small boat to transport the unit to the center of the lake for installation and shut-down.
