ChemKomplex® 200

It is used as an oxygen binder for the production of pure steam (sterilizing steam) in boiler water and to stabilize the remaining hardness with its protective properties against wear (corrosion).

Dosage schedule

 This sodium sulfide-based liquid product binds free oxygen by reduction. It combines pH-stabilizing alkaline phosphates with residual hardness up to about 30 dH and regulates the phosphate content and stabilizes the alkalinity in the boiler water. Addition of polycarboxylates, phosphonates and aminophosphonates improves stabilization and wear protection. Does not contain volatile substances. Can be used in food establishments and hospitals. It is in accordance with the rules of the MIA.

 
Areas of application
 ChemKomplex 200 is used in the systems of industrial type steam boilers. It binds residual oxygen in boiler feed water, stabilizes permanent hardness, and protects against corrosion. ChemKomplex 200 is also suitable for gradual dissolution of calcium and crystal deposits from heat transfer surfaces.
 
Usage and dosage ratio
 The application dose of ChemKomplex  200 varies according to the amount of oxygen in the boiler feed water. 1ppm ChemKomplex200 binds 0.013 mg/l oxygen in water. ChemKomplex200 should be dosed so that 5-15 ppm in boiler water and 10-30 ppm of excess sulphide in phosphate water can be detected.
