SWC5 membranes provide optimum salt rejection and permeation flows. They are chosen when lower penetration TDS and lower supply pressures are required. SWC5 membranes offer the highest energy efficiency at the lowest costs and are used in mega desalination plants. SWC5 membranes are available in two different types, LD and MAX
Low differential LD Technology models are offered to minimize colloidal contamination when used with conventional pretreatment equipment. They offer consistently low supply pressures and the highest time between two consecutive cleanings.
MAX models have an active membrane surface area of 440 ft 2 (40.9 m 2 ). They provide excellent performance with high TDS and boron removal from hot water.
