MAKS 1100 is a liquid oxygen scavenger product containing a catalyst.
APPLICATIONS MAX 1100 is an oxygen receiver designed for oxygen corrosion control in boiler systems with or without deaerators. For a complete boiler water treatment program, MAKS 1100 should be used with an internal scale/scale inhibitor product.
CHARACTERISTICS Protects systems from corrosion by reducing the proportion of dissolved oxygen in boiler water systems; Catalyzed for faster reaction at low temperature; Thanks to its strengthened formula, there is no loss of effectiveness during use and storage.; Complies with FDA and USDA regulations established for food industry, sterilization and steam humidification systems; Suitable for use at pressures up to 40 bar.
DOSAGE The dosage of MAX 1100 varies depending on the amount of dissolved oxygen present at the site of application. A certain amount of product should be kept in the boiler water. Your BIMAKS representative will recommend the appropriate dosage amount to ensure maximum air conditioning performance based on specific system parameters.
FEEDING MAX 1100 is fed pure or diluted. When preparing the solution, it should be diluted at least 10%. It is recommended to feed the product with a stainless steel pipe. MAKS 1100 should be fed to points (e.g. deaerator storage tank) that provide maximum reaction time. MAX 1100 must be fed continuously. Supply interruptions cause corrosion and damage pipes. If the feed water is used for cooling (cleaning) the turbine, MAX 1100 should be given after this line. For complete boiler protection, MAKS 1100 should be used in conjunction with the anti-fouling product.
NOTE: To prevent catalyst precipitation, MAKS 1100 should not be mixed with alkaline products. MATERIALS: Storage and application equipment (pumps, lines) shall use stainless steel (304+316), Buna-N, EPDM, Hypalon, Neoprene, Plasit 6000, PE, PP, PU, PVC, Teflon, Vinyl or Viton . . Aluminum, copper, carbon steel, copper, nickel or Plasit 4005+7122 should not be used in clean product contact areas. HANDLING AND STORAGE As with all chemicals, the use of goggles and personal protective equipment is recommended when handling. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety Information. The shelf life of MAKS 1100 is at least 24 months when stored in the original packaging, closed and under normal storage conditions. It should be protected from high and low temperatures. MAKS 1100 is available in various non-deposit packages.
APPLICATION AND DOSAGE RATE Product dosage varies depending on system operating conditions and water chemistry. Your BIMAKS representative will recommend the appropriate dosage amount to ensure maximum air conditioning performance based on specific system parameters.
